SIEBENBÜRGEN Part Ways With Guitarist

Swedish melodic black metallers SIEBENBÜRGEN have parted ways with guitarist Fredrik Folkare due to "irreconcilable differences," according to a posting on the band's official web site. Taking over on guitar will be singer Marcus Ehlin, who handled the guitar/vocal duties in the group for six years (1994-2000) before deciding to concentrate solely on his singing.

SIEBENBÜRGEN are currently working on the material for their follow-up to 2001's "Plagued Be Thy Angel", tentatively due next year.
